If my mind can conceive it,
and my heart can believe it- then I can achieve it.

About Me
My name is Kabir, and I am a 16-year-old National Medalist in Climbing, based in India. My climbing disciplines are primarily Bouldering and Lead. I’ve been passionate about climbing for over a decade. I have achieved significant milestones, including Silver Medal in Nationals Championship, North Zone Gold Medals consecutively for the last three years. I have also secured Silver and Bronze Medals in the Tata Steel Nationals Sports Climbing Championship. I have been selected for Asian Youth trials in 2024, and currently I am training for World Youth Championship in 2025.
Climbing has profoundly influenced me into becoming who I am today. It’s more than just a sport—it’s been my mentor and compass, shaping my values, challenging my beliefs, and testing my resilience and fortitude. The climbing wall has become my safe haven, where I continually push myself to grow and evolve.
I recognize the privilege I’ve had in accessing the right gear, training, and exposure through various competitions, which have played a crucial role in my climbing journey. However, I’ve also seen many talented athletes who lack these essential resources, which severely limits their potential. From basic necessities like proper equipment, nutrition, and training, to more nuanced aspects such as mental health support, rehabilitation, and the opportunity to participate in national and international competitions, these barriers are daunting.
This disparity has inspired me to take action and aspire for change. I’ve created Project Elevate to advocate for and support deserving athletes who face these challenges. My vision is to create a platform that bridges the gap, providing them with the resources they need to reach their full potential and succeed in the sport they love.
